John was appointed as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer in October 2020 with a remit to further develop Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­â€™s relationships with its key governmental customers in the UK and internationally. John also has responsibility for Corporate Communications, Group Marketing and Business Growth. John formerly led the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Marine business with responsibility for all build, support, commercial and international marine operations. He is a Visiting Professor at Strathclyde University, President of the Society of Maritime Industries, a member of the Glasgow Economic Leadership Board and Chair of Maritime Research & Innovation UK. John joined Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ in April 2001.
