Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» LGE, the specialist technology provider for the marine liquefied gas market has secured a new contract for its patented Vent Gas Cooler (VGCâ„¢) technology. This follows the recent award for its ground-breaking ecoSMRT® LNG reliquefaction technology for four newly ordered LNG carriers being built in South Korea.
Utilising innovative, multi-functional enhancements, the VGCâ„¢ will be utilised on two 79,500cbm LPG carriers. The VGCâ„¢ provides increased reliquefaction plant capacity and the ability to carry cargoes with high incondensable or volatile content, which conventional reliquefaction systems could not handle. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s VGCâ„¢ provides significant advantages over conventional options, giving increased efficiency at lower capital and operating cost. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s VGCâ„¢ offers a truly value added solution.
